At the entrance to Liu Wei's solo exhibition, "Phantom," seven large, cold iron plate installations stand at random. "Cycle" consists of six suspended spheres or spheroids (both concrete and metal) and several geometric shapes mounted on pedestals. The largest sphere is 150 centimeters in diameter, and the smallest is only 20 centimeters. After each object has been displaced for a period of time, the machine rests for 1 minute, and so on, the mirror on the ground reflects the exact same movement track, and the loud noise generated by the mechanical movement becomes a hypnotic cycle in the exhibition hall.
